COVID-19

As you may be aware, the Manitoba Government plan to reopen includes libraries and is effective May 4th. The Rapid City Regional Library will continue to be closed for an additional week to let us finish an inventory project we started and let us set up the library as per the recommended requirements. Please note that when we do open on Monday, May 11th to regular hours the computers and reading area (couches and chairs) will still be off limits and loitering is not recommended. Thank you for your patience and understanding!  If you need books between now and then, please don’t hesitate to call the library 204-826-2732 and we can make some kind of arrangement!

Our Goal

To provide access to materials, resources and technology that meets the educational, recreational and informational needs of the residents of Rapid City

What’s New

There are always new books on the New Book Shelf to check out!

Internet Access

No Charge to use the computers for Internet use.  There is a minimum usage time of ½ an hour if demand for the computers is heavy.  People who are just playing games must give up their computer for anyone doing serious research.  This is to be refereed by the Library staff.
